Banks power

have the banks 6 gun tuner installed on my truck, im hearing that not too many people like banks. i love the 6 gun and am so glad to have the added 62 horsepower and 112 foot pounds of toque. whats with everyone hating banks. i mean they seem to have alot of safety's for there products. why do people rag on banks?

My take is that the price vs return is not inline with what is possible with other peoples products. You also hit the nail on the head when you said safety, now a guy who works his truck daily, heavy hauling, a guy who makes his money with the truck, he wants some power, but he also wants longevity, that is where banks comes in, they add power, produce some real quality stuff, but its safe, its not pushing limits.

Now a guy who's hauling occasionally and is really looking to make a muscle truck, he finds the limits of the banks stuff, he doesn't want safe, he doesn't want to be limited, he wants the motor to scream, he wants to bounce off the limits, he's not concerning himself with broken parts. His same money he could of spent on Banks he sees as better spent on other stuff.

That's just my opinion. I had a 96 with a full out banks setup, great truck, still runs today at 400k+, and that truck needed all the power the banks added, but if I were to do it again I would of picked and choose my parts and added even more power rather than buy the banks kit.

What was the banks setup that you had on the 96?
