Motor oil in coolant?

About a year ago I replaced my injector cups due to a fuel in coolant issue. This also caused all the rubber hoses to turn soft needing replacement. Now it appears motor oil is getting in the coolant, could the orings in the oil cooler be the problem, head gasket, injector orings? I does seem to have developed a little miss or stutter when idling. What is most common? I am thinking the oil cooler because I know it has orings that were subjected to the fuel bath that softened all the other rubber in the coolant. Any heip would be appreciated.:rocking:Rocky

could be cracked injector cups, again. or bad injector o rings. wehn you replaced the cups did you do all 8 or just the bad one? did you replace the injector o rings? i haven't heard of the oil cooler o rings going bad and causing oil in the coolant.

Yes I did all 8 of them and used all new injector o rings.

I used orings and cups from the local Navistar truck dealer.

Its your oil cooler...

with cracked cups you get fuel in the coolant, with a cooler issue you get oil in the cooler...

Its a messy job but not bad.

Thanks guys, could it be o rings or is the cooler prone to failure?

probably just o rings.
