number 7 cylinder
which side of motor is the number 7 cylinder/injector
passenger side. far back...
thanks. thinking that number 7 injector wires are broke which blew the idm
i'm not sure that a broken or loose wire would fry the IDM. in mine the UVCH came partially unplugged and it knocked out my # 1&3 injectors but plugged it back in and it's fine.
Maybe some more information here would be helpful....
i'm thinkin so. if the wire completely broke in two and shorted, then it could fry it, but even then that's not very likely.
idm went out. got new one runs but hickups when you get on it i believe(dads truck not mine) mechanic hooked up scanner and said #7 injector open circut.
ok i wondering if anybody knows which prong on the plug that plugs into the idm is the number 7 injector. does that make any sense?
ahhhhhhhhhhhh. get a battery and a test light. look at the wire color for the no 7 and it might be the same...
ok ill tell my dad to try that and see if he can tell.
