Dual vs single stack.

I currently have a single 5" stack on my truck. Sounds nice but I would like a deeper sound. Its home made so I would be making another one. Is it worth my time and effort to make another 5" or will I only get a deeper sound by using larger pipes. Its currently 4" from turbo to stack. Thank you.

If you went with a 5" exhaust to a 6-7" stack(s) it will get deeper. It may change some if you just change the stack size.

Dual vs single stack.

I have 4" turbo back to 7" stack that I recently done and it sounds a lot deeper than it previously sounded. Also I am straight piped.

I am straight piped as well. I do like the sound I have now. At low engine speeds it sounds good and I get plenty of compliments but when I wind it up it almost has a crack similar to when a gas motor has too small of a pipe. Hoping going from single to dual 5inch will cure it. Hate to make a new one just to turn around and need 6 or 7 inches to get sound I want. I know it wont sound like a cummins. Also, anyone that has used box tubing as cross pipe regret it. I have plenty laying around and dont want to purchase a dual kit. Thank you guys.
