Excursion lift...

I want to put a lift on my 02 X.. Looking at a 4 or 6 inch lift. I want to run 35's. I have herd people say they are running 35's with a 4" lift. But all the kits say a max of 33's on a 4" lift..So what I would like to know is what what will work? If you have a lifted X what are you running?

I am running a 4" Revtek lift meant for an F250. First off, I do not recommend trying it. Excursions are different enough to be annoying. That being said, that lift gave me about 5" over stock. I am running 35X13.50-20.They do rub a bit but that is due to the 13.50 width. I have run a 35X12.50-20 and it did not rub. With a 4" Excursion lift, 33" tires are all you are going to get without rubbing.

first off the excursion sit 1-2 lower then superduty so 4 inch lift for f250 = 5-6 inch on excursion, and as far as rubing that has alot to do with wheel off set not tire size my f250 is stock no lift and has 35 they rub but the rub because of the 10 inch wheeks not the tire size with a leveling kit they will not rub, so how big a tire and wheel is the first ? to ask before you lift. my advise would be find some f350 stock leafs and a 3.5 hanger kit with bilstien shocks best possable ride with best amount of lift, not to tall .
