Well i think i have been screwed over and just wanted some opinions. I took my 2000 SD to get hub seals replaced. The guy calls me and said your brake lines needed to be changed. So i said ok. The next day he calls and said your u joint needs to be changed. I then ask him how much would it cost. He said it would be 800 dollars. I then got a little fishy about this guy. I told him to wait on that until i got a second opinion. Then he calls the next day and said he was changing the u joint and now the axle had to be changed. he said the yoke was worn out and he couldnt get the u joint to fit. Now he says i owe him 1400 dollars to get it fixed. Now my questions is how and the heck do you mess a yoke up while putting a u joint in. So guys beware of scammers out there working on our vehicles. My dad always told me if you want something done right do it yourself. I think i screwed up and didn't listen. So what do you guys think?

If he went ahead and did things with out u saying it was fine there's probably some kinda law against that I would think but idk I'd check. And see of some how u can get some one else to look at it and see if it looks like everything was done or if he's just trying to scam u.
