AIH Delete?
What is the purpose of the AIH delete, what does it gain you, what are the pros and cons?

It is.
There's no reason to delete it. You won't feel, hear, or smell any kind of difference in the way the truck runs. Personally, I feel that most folks claim to have done the "AIH mod" just to inflate their forum signature. |

It does nothing, blocks airflow thru the Y pipe and just adds a mess of more wires. Delete and be done. |

Extended idling below 40 degrees ambient.
Still not that useful. It's an emissions device. The last time an emissions device was actually good for anything was in the mid-60's when PCV was introduced. The dyno says that the same power is made whether or not it's there. |
