"Turbine housing mounting bolt back out"

I just realized that the truck I bought 2 weeks ago is missing the top 2 turbine housing mounting bolts that attach it to the main turbo bearing housing. This is the turbo exhaust leak I was talking about in another thread. Is there a way to tell if the turbine has pulled out enough to contact the housing without disassembling the turbo? Maybe a severe power loss? If it sounds good and feels good is it more than likely ok?

Replace the bolts and TQ to spec... This is not the cause of your exhaust leak but can cause issues over time.

It was quite common on the E99 trucks, but I have only seen it a few times on the 99+ trucks.

This is where the exhaust is leaking, unless this truck has some magic transportal exhaust where it leaks out somewhere, leave no residue then appears somewhere else, all the other places are clean and I fixed the up pipe leak already.

Most times your leaks will come from the up pipes, if your leaking from the exhaust housing I would pull the turbo and remove the exhaust housing to check for damage. If none then bolt it back together.

The bottom 2 bolts were in pretty tight, just the top 2 were missing, and I am positive that is where it is leaking. Dont want to pull it at all.
