Understanding Injectors

So I am going to attempt to paraphrase what I think I understand about Injectors then post my question:

If a Hybrid injector is an A code with a 7.1 mm plunger, so are these modifiable to larger to larger cc's and nozzles?

AC's are not modified at all, or are they?

What was an 238/100 injector before it became a 238/100? Is it a Hybrid, single shot?

This is where I get confused, I think I have the injector in mind I want, then I'm not sure if its going to require a fuel system to run, or can I run the 238's and then later add a fuel system?:s:

think most builders use an AB code injectors then install BD code plunger and barrels. dont quote me on that im not a injector builder.

Not sure if you have seen this but it might help you... https://www.dieselbombers.com/ford-p...ease-read.html

A hybrid in most cases starts as an A code injector with B code P&B's... And they are single shot.

For AC's, if it's a true AC code injector, then they are found in the higher output T444E like what came in busses I believe... Any injector builder can modify an injector to match an AC and they are generally referred to as Stage 1...

Hybrid is a pretty general term, There are a handful of hybrid combinations...

My advice is call Jim @ Rosewood, Call Ryan @ Full Force... Talk to these guys. See what they have to say...

I did see the tech sheet, I printed it out and I end up reading several times a day to understand, (I know a little obsessive), I just don't want to sound like an idiot when go asking questions.

I am planning on calling Jim @ Rosewood to see which direction I should go. I am thinking of doing injectors then build a fuel system around that, hopefully not having any oil issues, if so then a stage I stealth pump, maybe...

Anyway, thank you for your input on the Hybrid, I was beginning to think a Hybrid was one standard injector...thank you for clarifying.:jump:
