You can flush it without a tranny flush machine.

explain to me what the difference is between "flushing" the tranny with a machine that you install on the supply and return lines going to the cooler and draining the pan...

Whats the difference other then you get 100% of the fluid changed...

Come on man...

Dealerships use a high velocity flush that knocks the built up varnishes off and they clog up the galleys in the valve body. If it's done on regular intervals, the varnishes don't have time to build up. On a higher mileage transmission, it's already there and better left there. Draining the fluid and changing filters is a great thing. Flushing a higher mileage transmission isn't is all I'm saying.

Every flush system i have ever seen has two lines coming out, one goes on the supply, one on the return, then you start the rig, put it in N and wait for the pump to do the work, and when I say pump I mean the tranny pump.

Do you understand what pressures the tranny operates at?

That gauge you see in the video is a Drive Oil Pressure gauge, its installed in the pressure port of my 4r100... So unless you have a pump in your flush kit that puts out more then 350psi I doubt there is much to worry about.:tu:
