Yessir a TS chip with Custom tunes will do you right.

I go to school in Ellensburg.

Look for a ATS compressor housing. This will stop 99% of any surge. You could also add a 1.00 exhaust housing to the turbo without issue that would help surge, lower EGT and pick up a bit of top end HP.

You do NOT need a turbo, or turbo system.

However, if you want to upgrade to a better turbo that will work good with your stock injectors then the Garrett 38R is a good choice.
I've got Swamps 175/146 Single Shots and a TS chip. Is the intake or exhaust more of the issue with surge, or do I need to address both ends? Would I be able to run the 1.15 exhaust housing without much turbo lag?
