need an answer on a downpipe

I bought a Diamond Eye 4" stainless downpipe for my 7.3 powerstroke. I also have a dual 5" stacks kit. I want to run 4" tubing straight back from the downpipe to the stacks. Question i have is will there be any interference running straight back from the downpipe to the stacks kit such as a cross member or trans/transfercase? How many feet of 4" will I need for an extended cab? Also is the outlet of the downpipe 4" ID or 4" OD? i am deployed so I cannot just go look at the parts. My buddy is going to be installing these on my truck before i get home on leve for me, so i want to make sure i order the correct parts. Thanks for any bit of help I can get!

You should be able to run straight back, as with the stack kit you will have some flex pipe...

down pipe should be 4"id with a flared end. If your down pipe is new. If your going to cut it off get a 4"id and have it flared.

Or you could get one of the 4" wide stainless bands and clamp it that way. My down pipe is that way.

i was planning on ordering 2 4ft sections from summit racing and using the band clamps. 8 feet of pipe should be enough correct? so the downpipe should have a flared, with 4" id right?
