Yet another 7.3 no start

SO!! I have a 2002 Powerstroke. It is between 65/70 deg where Im at. I have the Banks 6 gun as well as the trusty Dp Tuner. Lately when I go to start my truck my Banks flashes the ICP error. Which would indicate its the sensor or connections which I checked. I unplugged the sensor and still no start. I wait a few min and after 5-6 cranks she fires up. This only happens after the truck sits over night or day. Just got out of the shop, no codes and the truck started fine for them?? Naturally!!! What sensors can cause this. All my cold start issues have been taken care of. New injectors, relays, harnesses.

Are all your GP's working?

as far as I know everything is working the way its supposed to. I just dont want to spend the cash on the Icp sensor if its not gonna change anything. It seems its the sensor because is runs super rough upon starting but then it smooths out right away. Just crazy because it was just in the shop. I thought Id have all new parts in this thing as much money I put in it!! When I try to start it it will almost turn over then it just cranks. so to me it sounds like its not reading the oil pressure and in return not sending info for the injectors. Like i said before I unplugged it and I get the same result.

try replacing the cps sensor. it made a big differenc with my truck, the hard start problems i had with my 7.3 was because most of my injectors were shit i replaced them last week, (not saying thats ur problem tho) also my icpp sensor is bad, it seams to work when it wants to , my diesel shop told me to replace the sensor and the conector because the conectors are known to go bad, same with the cps sensor.

haha well I know its not the cps, done tried that, keep an extra in the glove box, but I never thought about the harness goin. I appreciate the info. I know its a simple fix but its hard to pinpoint when Ive replace just about every damn part. But I cannot complain, shes my toy. Ill have to let you know what I find. thanks
Shawn
