Oh and the filter is reuseable right?
|
What you need is a 4 inch exhaust pipe about 8 to 10 inches long and a 6637 filter..
No it is not reusable.. when it get dirty you change it. |

Prices/setups vary by vendor. I used my tubing from my K&N (as I mentioned on another thread) and it worked fine, and the filter was $35 at NAPA. I think RiffRaff has a kit that mates up to factory tubing.

Ok cook how long does the filter last?
|
15k would probably be a good time to change it. I think replacement filters are like 29 bucks.

cool thanks i was looking at riffraff diesel stuff do u guys think the AFE "Big Boost" Filter would be worth the extra $66 its like the 6637 just washable
heres the link for the kit let me know what yall think http://www.riffraffdiesel.com/mm5/me...e=F731-IN-6637 |
Its your call... They both work.

so between the two filters ones just cleanable should be the same performance as long as i dont over oil the one?
The other thing is does the heat shields in hight end kits like afe make that big of a difference performance wise? or is that more high hp, high heat drag/pull trucks that it would make the difference? |
