Fuel leak.. Help asap

I got a 200 f250 with the 7.3 and it leaking file on to the top o the motor and it dripping out the back of the motor. About a year and a half ago I replaced the bank 2 file line that had a pin hole leak. Does any one know what I could check for a possible fuel leak??? Thanks for all the help

How bad is the leak?

I had a small leak on the one i just got and i found out the gasket for the fuel filter was causing it to leak. might be worth a shot to check there as well. im new to the powerstroke so im sure someone else will be able to tell you more

check you fuel bowl drain.

that sounds like what mine did. check the fuel bowl drain

when I first got mine I pulled the fuel filter out and then did a dumb thing and put it back in... the o ring gasket was enlarged and when I put the lid back on the gasket didn't seat right and it leaked all the time until I got a new filter and gasket...

More then likely a fuel bowl drain leak. Replace the O rings and go from there.

Riff Raff Diesel has a nice kit.

If the fuel bowl isn't it, look to see that you don't have a leak on the connection from the line you replaced. I have seen more than a few guys crack the heads over-tightening them.

fuel leak

I replaced the o-rings at the fuel bowl(yellow plastic valve) and that took care of that problem. However, I developed another leak, this one was major, fuel was running all over the ground simply when the key was turned on. Found out(thru users of this forum) that there is a steel fuel line on the passenger side of the engine, and the "bracket" had rubbed a pin-hole in the line. The bracket was diffusing the spray so I could't see where it was coming from! This fuel line runs from the bottom of the fuel bowl to the backside of the engine(near the firewall). After removing the line, took it to the "stealership" and they had in stock for around $58.00. DONE!

replace the whole fuel bowl drain lever and fuel filter that fixed mine and was pretty cheap and easy
