Turbo

When it is cold the turbo closes and opens I assume to help warm up the engine. Is there a way to gut this all out. It pisses me off when im trying to get going and the truck falls on its face. If it is truly needed then I understand if I cn get rid of it then how do I do it.

Truck is a 00' 7.3

Thanks

Do a search for EBPV Delete mod or gutting EBPV.

just un plug it. it's a 2 wire plug under the compressor housing towards the front.

Thanks

no. it won't hurt anything. or put it on a switch and use it as an exhaust break. but i'm to stupid to get pictures on this site so you're SOL there.
