Chip questions
ok so i bought and installed an Edge Juice Attitude on my truck and was wondering f it had anything to do with my transmission shifts because she wont shift anymore
next question is can i get new tunes for that programmer or is it just topped off at 75HP on stage 5?? thanks for the help in advance |
The Juice is not a chip.
It is also not a programmer. No tunes available. It does nothing for your transmission. If it no longer shifts, then further diagnosis is necessary. |
well then if that is true then wat exactly is it classified as?? and can i plug a programmer in as well?

The fact remains that the Juice (regardless of whether or not it has the smaller Attitude monitor or is the the CS/CTS variety) IS NOT a PROGRAMMER. It is an inline fueling module that in the case of the 7.3L Powerstroke does NOTHING but fool the injection control pressure signal to the PCM. That's it. Nothing more.
Yes, you can use it in conjunction with an actual programmer (like an Evolution), or with an actual chip from any number of vendors. Just don't expect any power gains above and beyond what the programmer or chip would give you. At that point, you'd have an expensive display that shows RPM, boost, and EGT. |
