Ok I know everybody is gun a get all mad and be like why do this but I cnt care it's just my weekend truck, ok I got a 2002 7.3l power stroke and all I want is a answer how can I make a smoke switch or some way of pourin black smoke without buyin all kinds of chips.

well your not really gonna pour a buch of smoke without those "chips". a smokeswitch will only do so much. ya need larger injectors...programmers...and so on

Can't do a smoke switch on the 7.3... Sorry but it just can't happen. That's a 6.oh thing.

To answer your question, save some money, and build your truck the right way. You will need to do injectors and a chip at the bare minimum. Just chipping your truck will get you a little smoke but not enough that you will be happy cuz you can't "roll coal" all over the honda behind you.

You want smoke, put a plastic bag over the intake or put a smoke machine in the muffler.... Or buy injectors and a chip.

gurrr... You driven one of the new trucks out right now??? filled one up when its getting 13mpg...

Ok so what is the best kind of injectors I can get and how much of a difference will it make in my fuel milage I get 13 to14 now with a ten inch lift and 37 inch tires and a hypertech programmer

The way to make blue smoke is install a small tank filled with motor oil. drill a hole in your exhaust manifold. Using an electric fuel pump, pump oil into the exhaust while the engine is at high RPM. It will fill the street behind you.

With a hypertech programer you are at the bottom of the barrel as far as possable power... Before we jump to injectors your going to need some supporting mods...

Gauges, Pyro, Boost and Tranny temp
Intake, AFE or something to that effect
Exhaust, 4" turbo back...

Once you get that handled you can start thinking about what HP level you want as a goal...

300hp can be done with a good TS chip, with tunes from Power Hungry Performance, Beans Diesel Performance, Swamps or otherwise.

350 can be had with a good turbo upgrade, 38R, H2e or something like that.

Once you get past that level its time for injectors...

Stage 2's will get you to 400 plus of minus 30hp depending on the size...

Hybrids can take you from 400-700+hp...

Its about money!!! lol

So, what do you want? Do you know?

You want thick, luscious clouds of black smoke but you want mileage. Make up your mind. Oh, and 10" lift and 37" tires while trying to get more than 13 MPG....:argh: Not going to happen.

I think someone is just pulling our leg... why the hell would you need 10 inches of lift to clear 37 inch tires? hell I bet you could clear 53 inch tires with that lift....

why not just put a plastic bag over your air filter? a cheap way to get smoke.

or a tampon in your turbo:humm:

Ok I get 13 to 14 to the gallon right now just sayin and yea I could go for some bigger tires but not till these are wore out no need to waste money and I have a five inch exaust straight pipe with no cats and a stage two air intake

I have a friend in Virginia Beach...not the brightest bulb in the socket...put on an intake, exhaust, Superchips, AND a plastic bag. He had to replace his intake and turbo when the bag was sucked through. Karma? :jump: Now he has it set up right, getting ok mpg, and loves it.

Go to youtube and look up my video. 99 F250 Rollin Coal the camera quality isnt to good because it was off a phone but thats my truck smoking just on fuel my chip was turned down to stock. But they are right spend your money on things that add power the smoke will come:c:

gauges will run around 400 bucks, CSIPSD swears on Isspro... thats what i'm tryin next, i had autometer and they did good, Isspro seem to hold up a little better from what i've seen

My gauges were 230 dollars on Ebay and the pod cost me 40. So 270 all in all. Mine are Autometer ultralites. Only thing is my boost gauge flutters.

300-400 im going to guess for guages and a pod. i have diprocols and i really like them, but they do not make them any more so i think im going to go with isspro next time.

IMHO, Isspro EV2 is about the best gauge out there...

Performax is better yet, but spendy.

Pyro, Boost and Tranny temp in a pod will set you back about $300 bucks. A bit more for full sweep and electric.
