IS IT POSIBLE THAT WITH MY FOOT TO THE FLOOR MY TRUCK WOULD ONLY PUT OUT ABOUT 700 EGT'S? WITH MY CHIP ON EXTREME

Where is your thermocouple probe located? Normal temperature for post-turbo. Not normal if it's in the manifold.

its located in the drivers side exhaust manifold right before the up pipe is should be reading right

That is the correct location.

It should be reading 300*-400* at idle, 500*-800* crusing down the road and 1200*-1600* WOT on your hot setting of the chip or tuner...

After CSIPSD's post I went for a drive to find out on mine :pca1: With my mods this is what I had. Idle: 260-300 Cruising @ 65 MPH: 540-640 WOT with tuner on 6: 1260-1400. His post was pretty much dead on...as usual :tu:

glow shift must have sold me a bad guage or probe im guessing the probe

Both of mine will sit at 1000 to 1100 running 70 or 75 down the interstate with a 32' gooseneck T-190 bobcat and New Holland TC 40 with a 6' brushog and chip on the lowest setting, and empty the chip on 100 it will sit about 800 to 900. and my passenger side usualy runs 50 to 125 degrees warmer then the driver side
