4x4 jumping out

Got stuck in the snow put it in 4x4 going straight works good start turning and it pops and jumps any idea

Are you on dry when this is happening? If you turn tight on good traction in 4x4 it will bind and jump a bit.

if you have decent traction when turning in 4 wheel peel it'll pull and hop just a bit like said above

No but some times it will not go into 4wheel even with the hubs locked in the lights on but still 2wheel

Do you have ESOF set up? With the dash knob?

How do you know its not going into 4x4?

It will not pull the front tires and when it does it pulls out of the mud or snow

Lange503 01-01-2011 01:19 PM

what do you mean pull the front tires? like they will not spin? if that be the case try power braking in a slick spot to see if they'll all spin when you let off the brake

Just so you know you do not have 4x4... All 4 wheels do not spin if stuck, two or three might.

I'm just not following you. If your thinking your 4x4 is not working, with the Tcase in 2wd, lock the hubs and crawl under the truck and see if you can turn the drive line. If you cant, then the 4x4 is working. If you can, see what axle shaft is turning and thats your problem side.
