'00 fueling problems

Got 178,000 miles on my E-350, somewhere around 150,000 lost o-rings on 1 of the injectors(i want to say #4) sent my cores to DIESEL CARE AND PERFORMANCE in Memphis and requested that my cores be rebuilt. Got injectors back, installed them and it never ran right, 6&7 didn't buzz right. got pissed and let van set for 6 months and bough a cheap gas rig to use. It takes like 2 hours to get the valve covers off a van. Anyway finally took the time to work on it and the Thieving BASTARDS sent me single shot injectors that weren't even a matched set. There was NO way those where my original cores. They told me since I waited so long that I was lying and was just screwed. So I bought a low mileage set of used double shots, new gaskets and harnesses. Still 6 and 7 don't buzz the same as the others. It has a lite miss and if I am easy on accelerating it goes rich (smokes)and shifts into 2nd late. It's also rich at idle and will make my eyes water. So is it likely that the injector driver module is bad or something else?

Sounds to me like you have a cut o-ring or bad cup. Did you install NEW o-rings and coppers with the "newer" injectors?

Also, there is nothing wrong with a set of single shot injectors, so long as they are the same size. Did they tell you what they sent you? The markings on the tops of the injectors mean nothing, the solenoids are just actuators and mean nothing.

all new o-rings. injector bussiness was water under the bridge a year ago. The new used injectors and the Not my rebuilt injectors both buzzed bad on 6 & 7 which is why I suggested the IDM

IDM would not cause a white smoke/ rich issue.

I would look at your harness again.
