I enjoy watching a diesel truck belch smoke everywhere, but I also like hearing and seeing the power that comes with it. I will agree, I've seen the "smoke switch" guys have put on 6.0's and they're rediculous idiots. 6.0 powerstroke+smoke switch = turbo rebuild/replacement + less exhaust flow due to excessive soot...at a minimum

It seems like we're getting more and more threads from guys that just want their truck to smoke so they can "show off to their buddies."

It's getting really annoying. Nobody wants to make their truck more powerful anymore for some reason. Those are the guys that are going to kill this hobby, and i don't know about you guys but I sure as hell don't wanna not be able to drive my truck

I agree 100%.

i dont want my truck to just smoke i want power as well i was just wondering if there was anything i could do to it with out adding a chip to get power and smoke not just smoke for those how thinks that. Just somthing simple like puting a bigger fuel plate in a 12 valve cummins and once more i would like to have power and not only SMOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok everybody shut the hell up now we're gonna advise this guy on power not a "smoke switch" next time though guy name your post different and state that your looking for power not just smoke. first off we need every detail about your truck. i believe you said you had a chip? is it in the truck? what kind of chip? any other aftermarket accessories? i believe a common starter would be a stage 2 intake. now this will take away some smoke but remember that will give you the power benefit. oh also lets get a budget your looking at because we can advise you of a lot of things but if you cant afford them that doesn't help you. some stage 1 injector nozzles would benefit you as well. so lets hear the answers i requested and we can help you much more. oh and btw you own a powerstroke so theres gonna be no fuel plate stuff. thats basically what your chip is for but your chip is adjustable unlike a plate.

Another thing they need to know is what the truck will be used for the most.

:argh::argh:too many f***ing kids with diesel trucks anymore... ya want smoke? spend some money. if you dont have any, go make some! buy some injectors, put that ts in and get a bigger turbo! then maybe you will have a reliable truck and get some bragging rights at the same time. or maybe dont make it reliable....smoke out every stoplight and neighborhood, kill your truck and guess what. one less kid to ask this repeated question day after day!

prison 12-09-2010 11:16 PM

crzycummins chill out man. we dont all have you're millions. some of us take it one step at a time.
