2 stroke oil

has anyone every ran it in the powerstroke most of the ppl that have used it ran it in cummins or duramxs. just wondering what the pros and cons are for the powerstroke. i have a 2000 f250 stock with 260K miles on it.

Been running it for about 85,000 miles seems to really quiet down the injectors and I'd swear it runs smoother. I run about an oz. per gallon. Some people swear by mpg increases I've seen about .5- 1 mpg increase at highway speeds and 0 mpg gains around town. I do notice a difference in the way it runs and sounds if I don't put the 2 stroke in.

Works pretty good. The only fuel additive that actually gained me any MPG is Stanadyne.

I have used it! Lucas works better for me. so does the Stanadyne, Z-max, Shafers, Marvel. Every truck is different.

I'd just stick some diesel kleen in and call it a day.

Goose350 11-09-2010 06:31 PM

2 stroke oil is a lot cheaper though.

This is true.. but 2 stroke oil wont prevent my fuel from gelling and leaving me stranded ;)

btw long time no speak goose!
