turbo

how would you make a hybrid turbo out of a stock 7.3 can you do it at home or need to go to a shop

YOu can do things like a wicked wheel, ported compressor housing, and better waste gate. But after all that you still have a turbo that you have now put time and money into that has miles on it.
Personaly I'd say by a hybrid or mod turbo. Than at least you know its fully built and balanced.

It really depends on your budget and what your looking to achieve.

no matter what you do it'll still be basically stock... i have a compressor housing and a wastegate and have liked it so far, you could do a bigger exhaust housing for some lower egts and a little more top end. hope this helps :c:

ya it'll hold, get some custom tunes for it though, be much better on everything, i have PHP and am impressed and pleased with the tunes, black widow diesel has some pretty good prices on precision billet turbos, look them up
