INOP Cruise Control
 

Have a 2000 Super duty- All my info is in my sig.

My cruise control does not work. Fuses are good. It has the ford recall under the hood.
Everything else in the truck works fine.

Any suggestions or tests?

Im not quite sure, but on the super duty, if the third brake lite is out, might cause the cruise control not to work. Im not sure if it is the Super Duty or OBS or both.

mine will do this every once in awhile, after a few times of trying it usually works though, and also sometimes my light wont come on saying cruise is set but it really is, damned thing has a mind of its own LOL, and you have checked every possible fuse that links to it?

3rd brake light is working.

All fuses checked.

hmmmm, hell man i dunno then? have you checked to see if it threw any codes? to say like if a relay is out or anything

yep also used a snap on scanner. no codes or faults
