2000 Superduty power?
 

I've got a 2000 ext cab 6ft bed F350 4x4 7.3L 6spd 3.73 gears 33" A/T's w/ some mods as follows-
Power hungry performance chip(stock, 40 tow, 65 tow, 80 economy, 120 race and 140 extreme), banks power elbow, 4" down pipe, 4" straight pipe exhaust, cfm intake manifold, ccv mod, afe intake, garrett 38R turbo, full force diesel stage 2 injectors

My question is I don't think it has as much power as it should and not as fast as I thought it would be?

I had a 1999 superduty F350 ext cab 8ft 7.3L ats tranny 4.56 gears and 38" m/t's truck was heavy, had a winch bumper and 12k winch, rock sliders.
Truck had Dp tuner, gt38r turbo, afe intake, 4" dp and straight pipe, ccv mod

With the extra weight and bigger tires it was still faster then my 2000 super duty with more performance mods and less weight!!

Is it the manual trans that is slowing me down? Losing boost every time i shift?

How do you know it was faster? Dyno? Strip?

A 6 speed will slow you down quite a bit, but with stage 2 injectors you should be at 400hp with that set up...

I never raced it at the track or ran it on the dyno. The 99 just felt faster and was more fun to drive. It would chirp 2nd and 3rd. If you put the hammer down it would break the tires loose through 1st and 2nd.

What is my next mod? I know clutch is soon to come. I was thinking south bend?

FPR mod, HPOP, fuel system, what else? Any order?

Where is everyone getting the 6.0L intercoolers? How much work are they to get in?
