My truck used to show the 1670 when I put the dp tuner on it but my buddy is a Ford tech he said it was no big deal. He said see if it goes away so far I dont think it is there the light never comes on anymore

okay cleared all the codes and discoverd a boost fooler that had a bad wire we repaired it and went and drove the truck for about 30 mins it makes 15psi wide open and under 10 just crusin around and its the same with or without the boost fooler we looked at the uppies and didnt see any major leaks were would the leak be coming from please help thanks

i looked for a leak and only thing i could find was in passenger side of the intercooler there was some black soot like maybe it had been leaking but no way to really feel and tell if that was really it

That's not soot. That's just oil and dust from your CCV.

What kind of boost fooler had a wire? Its usually just a replacement map line

theres a way to ground something and fool it into thinking its only seeing so much boost.

Zener diode. Never used it, but heard it works.

I have the diode in mine it works good but its no wires. It just looks like a resistor or something. There is no wires coming off it. You put each end into a certain wire in the map line. If he has the diode maybe someone put it on the wrong wires

it is a replacement map line the old map line plugs into it and it plugs into the map its has four wires on it and one of them is yellow and its caped off

I would ditch that thing and get a nice one from itp diesel or something. That might be half of your problem
