diesel leak
in the past year i have replaced the valve that drains the water from the fuel filter three times, and every time i replace it it starts leaking after about a month. :bat: are others having this problem, or am i doing something wrong? and also my cruze light has quit working. i checked all the fuses and a few were blown, but when i replaced them it still doesn't work. i have not done anything about the recall on the cruze system,,, is that what it is or is it just the diode burnt out or something completly different? thanks lawson

check the light bulb in the cruse controrle area and i have the same fuel problem

that plastic valve isnt worth a dam... im thinking about trying to fabricate a brass valve :humm:, but i cant exactly remember what the hookup to the bowl looks like, and im afraid that if i take it off to look at it i wont be able to get it back on without causing a worse leak. i think its also leaking from the sensor plug right beside it. im guessing thats the water in fuel sensor.

Get a bowl delete system and ditch the stupid factory leak bowl!

where do i find such a thing?

with that i would have to get an air dog, or the equivalent of right? to use a a water separator?

Stick a mirror on the back side of the bowl and make sure you have all that yellow ptfe stuff removed or the new o-rings will keep leaking. If that's not it I'm stumped. Will ask around tho.
The cruise control recall is just a new pigtail that plugs into the existing wire on the backside of the master cylinder. Only takes them a couple minutes to fix it. It has nothing to do with the cruise light, could be just the led. |
