People... Make sure when you are making milage claims you are not using the overhead... it is 100% worthless for this task.

Also, you must know how to proplerly hand calculate milage, if not your just throwing numbers out there.

I have been around and under these trucks for over 10 years now. A F-250, 350 standard cab 2wd will pull high teens low twentys under idea conditions...

A F-250 CC long box... sorry, not going to happen. mid to high teens is it.

On mine...

2001 7.3 Crew Cab, Long wheel Base, 2 Wheel Drive, Dually with Manual trans, all stock 145K miles....doesn't smoke (shift points about 2000rpm)

I get 15-17 MPG empty and about 11 pulling a 10K lb Camper at 65 MPH. Thats hand calculated!!!.

the MPG do not really change wether I'm on the interstate at 70mph or driving around town...still about the same.

No im not going by the overhead, just did some basic math.

14 mpg on my OBS. 4x4 ex. cab LB. 4:10s

i would be very suprised if an EX could get 20mpg

Derek0525 11-12-2009 02:01 PM

I get 15 with mine used to get 18 to 19 when it wasn't lifted thats goin off what my Pacific Pride bill tells me anyway.
