99-05 Front end conversion?

Hey guys I am looking to do a front end conversion from the 99 style to the 05 front end. Grill headlights bumper etc. Anyone on here do it? What parts need to be found and where'd you guys get em? Thanks for the help ahead of time!

I'm not to sure about this, but I'm sure everything mounts right up, you may need to adjust something but once again I'm not to familiar with the older Ford bodies... But you'd just need the grill, bumper, and headlights. I know the one piece headlights work on the 99-04s because my friend put a set on his 02, that makes me lean toward everything just generic and will bolt right up but I could be wrong..

get the grill, bumper, headlights(w/connectors), upper/lower valance, bumper brackets, but you dont need the outter brackets(they won't bolt to frame), and make sure to get the 05 oem header pannel. put some pics up before/after.

my buddy has actually done this after hitting a telephone pole, everything should bolt up fine except the headlights may not, but you can get 05 headlights that fit in a 99. :U:

If you go to http://www.dfuser.com/Install%20Guid...Conversion.pdf

There is a nice write up there as how to modify the factory headder panel to fit the new lights. If not, you will need the new head piece.

I think you can buy everything off eBay.

AWESOME swap and it looks GREAT when you are done.

If you need specific part numbers or pricing on new Ford OEM parts, PM me.

The header panels are different, along with all the obvious parts that you are already changing.

I think you will find that the OEM parts DO fit better than the aftermarket stuff, but if you have lots of patience and don't mind screwing with stuff a little to get it to fit, the A/M stuff WILL work.
