IDM module was coroded and that the number 8 injector was bad so he put new injector and fixed the wire and it still feels like it might be missing and when i driving in overdrive and give it some gas and let off and slow down it smokes for a few minutes and stops i dont know what the hell is goin on please give ideas thanks

IDK, but it sounds like it washed and scored the cylinder. Keep an eye on the oil level, and any signs of it rising, chances are that's what happened.

Are you smoking from the draft tube or when you remove the oil fill cap? Puffing smoke out here could be a scored cylinder. If the cylinder was scored it will knock real loud and engine will miss.Check oil level then make sure you are not making oil. If over full fuel dilution will show up on the dip stick from not firing.Take your truck out and run it down road make some boost and get it warm then see if it still has a miss.Could be ring needs to seat again.

How is the under valve cover harness? Did he install the retainer clips while he had it apart to keep the harness from falling out of the valve cover?
