Can shifter be taken apart?
 

So my overdrive off button wasn't working, read the problem on here and sure enough my 3 wires were broke in two. Problem is that one is broke in the shifter, can the shifter be taken apart or do I bite the bullet and buy a new one? Thanks in advance
