truck cutting out--need some help

okay guys to start with let me give you a little history on the truck, maybe it could help diagnose it?
2003 F250 7.3L automatic
132500 miles
s&b cold air intake
php hydra-swamps custom tunes
straight pipe
iss pro gauges
new injectors cups
new HPOP seals-which is already leaking again
35x12-20 tire/wheels
all of this was done in the last 5000 miles, minus lift was on it when I bought it.
so a back in October we were on the way home from a trip in WV deer hunting, we live in NC and we were getting off the interstate when the truck suddenly cut out-this was the first and last time that this had happened. the truck doesn't get driven but maybe 2-3 times a week, but I try to keep it up mechanically, so I did my research and seen it could have been the camshaft position sensor.
I seen how all these cps had pros and cons, and I seen the internet world warned against aftermarket sensors so I went to ford and purchased a new one. I never installed it I just keep it in the dash incase it quits for good, as it hasn't did it since that day.
Fast forward 4 months later to a 28 degree morning in NC.
I hadn't drove it for 5 days, and I went to crank it up to get a few trailer loads of wood. I crank it up and put it on the high-idle, and she crank like a charm. I let it idle for a good 10 mins, taking it on and off of high idle to the normal economy setting. When we finally set off to leave, I put the truck in gear and it immediately shut off. I cranked it back up, shut off again. I cranked it up a third time, putting it back in high idle and then back to a tow setting and it ran fine. I went 10 mins over the road and hooked up the trailer, drove to the wood destination, just fine, where when I pulled into the parking lot at a stopped position the truck shut off again. I cranked it back up and it hick-upped, but didn't shut off. I backed it up to the wood pile, cut it off and back on to drive home, no issues. when I drove it back for the second load, I was stopped at a stop sign and it cut off again. I got to the wood pile, no issues this time but once backing the trailer at the house it shut off again as I stopped- I didn't even have it put in park yet.
with all of that being said, its been an agverating morning. according to all my gauges, all the fuel and oil pressures are at normal positions.
I don't think it would be fuel pump because I have continuous steady power, it is ONLY doing this at idle/stopped positions.
Unless there is a hidden code, which I am going to go have checked, no codes have popped up on the dash.
is this also a symptom of the cps sensor?
if not what could it be?
any help as always will be greatly aprechiated!

when my cps went out first it would randomly cut off and be able to restart, eventually it got to the point when it reached a certain temperature it would shut off and not start. It cutting out is a sign of a bad cps.

I moved the truck to work on it since it's so muddy right now, when I tried to crank a second time it wouldn't even start. I changed cps still no start. Decided to remove computer and check that, everything looked fine as far as connection with chip, I reinstalled it after reconnecting chip to computer and it started right up. I think it was a mix of the 2, hopefully the problem is now resolved
