F250 7.3 starter upgrade,Amazing!!!

So half way into my 550 mile drive I stop to grab some food in a drive-threw, and like always with my 7.3 I turn her off to order, well couple minutes later and I realize it's closed so I go to start her and its sounds like the motor is locking up so my first thought is the batteries and after 2 cars (small cars) trying to start this beast I realize it's my starter well it's 3am in some random exit off North Carolina getting worried because tomorrow is Christmas Eve and my girl is already there, 6 speed thank goodness, lol trying to push start this thing is a joke by yourself any way I get help and she finally starts. So having two days to google 7.3 starter I come across starter upgrade, installing a 2003 starter in my 99.5 if you haven't done this you need to my 7.3 has never started so fast and sounds much cooler and its lighter. So just wanted to post this for other 7.3 owners DEFINITELY DO THE UPGRADE YOU WILL BE PLEASED!!

I'm having a relevant problem in my 2001 7.3.

I've been having a problem with my batteries holding a charge like something is constantly drawing a load with the ignition switch off.
I had one of the batteries changed charged the battery turned the ignition into the on position and the voltage dropped below 11.5 volts which didn't allow sufficient cranking amps though the starter did turn the motor over once before the amperage became to low to allow the starter to do that.
The wholesale battery place said my starter was dragging but I didn't feel like that would draw a load on the circuit with the ignition switch off , wouldn't cause the system to drop below 11.5 when heating the glow plugs , and the starter try's to turn the motor over.
Just looking for some help any information would be appreciated 2001 7.3
