New to me 2002 7.3 - upgrades & maintenance

Hi all,

I am new to this forum. Always wanted a 7.3l turbo diesel and I finally bought one. Now I am looking on what to do with it other than drive and smile. I bought a 2002 F-350 Crew Cab Rolling Chassis.

It runs well and sounds good. It has no deck or box on it and the the interior needs some TLC. Before I deem it road worthy I want to make some changes, and was hoping for some advice.

This is the first 7.3 I have owned and the only other diesels I owned were series 60 Detroit's.

I plan on driving it every day, so I want it to look good inside and out.

It appears to be all stock and my goal is to give it some minor tweaks and maintenance. Thinking of adding a gear vendor unit before I make it my daily driver.

Where should I start... Any advice would be appreciated.

Should I replace the fuel lines? [think it might be sucking air somewhere]
Is there a link to a page with a list of where to start and what are the most common mods or upgrades?
What is the best way to make it breath better?
What is the best exhaust?

It will be 90% highway 10% city driving, towing will be about twice a month 10000lb or less.

suggestions??

thank you,
