7.3 running issue
 

I recently took my truck on a trip, where I got almost back home and it had a miss as a gasoline engine would when the distributer caps go bad. Then the next day, i had just crank it up to move it about and in 300 feet and it just cut off on me. It fired right back up. Does anyone know what this could be?

If it's a 99-2003 7.3 try the cps cam position sensor located on the front right side of motor directly on top of hominid balancer 1 10mm bolt that's holds it in... Symptoms running fine then just die wait a few seconds fires up drives then dies again could be 1 foot or 10 miles before it does it again

Also try the valve cover gasket that has all the electronics for the injectors and glow plugs seen them burn out case skips but if it's like an injector skip try some regular ATF or Sea Foam in the fuel tank on your next fill up it cleans the injectors see if it gets better
