7.3 setup

Okay, I'm sure these questions have been asked thousands of times but I'm not sure where.

I got my truck straight piped, and I am ready to order my chip, gauges and cold air intake.

I'm thinking the iss pro ev2's. Has anyone had any experience with them? Also I talked to a local shop and he said that for 5 or 550 he could buy and install them is this a good price?

2. I think I have decided on the s&b cold air intake, that's what everyone says to get. But should I get the dry or oiled style and why? Thanks!

3. Do I need an over boost eliminator? If so, what is the best brand or should I just use a regulator and make one?

4. I tow a good but, but nothing major as far as weight goes, a few zero turns, a large trailer loaded with toys at the most. Never any heavy equipment. With my truck being stock, for now anyway, will I see a huge improvement with the custom over the canned tunes?
I am thinking about going with the custom ts from swamps diesel. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks guys, look forward to hearing back as I hope to have most of this ordered by the end of the week!

1. Isspro are the best gauges you can buy. Not sure sure what they charge for the gauges themselves but aa friend of mine sells a 3 gauge deal for I believe $375

2. I run an oiled filter, I don't know about S&B but I have heard other brands dry filters don't filter that well.

3. You shouldn't need one. But if you do end up needing one it can be added later. I run one from riff raff.

4. Custom tunes are the only way to go. Some people Love swamp and some don't. Everyone has their own opinion and every pickup likes different tuners. I would suggest getting the hydra over the TS though.

Where can I get the gauge kit you mentioned? And does it come with the pillar? Also, why do you recommend the Php over the ts and what tunes do you buy from?

The hydra is an updated TS chip. You can change the tunes without ever having to remove it from the PCM. You can hold more tunes, comes with a built in stock and no start settings, access to PHPs tuning library for free. I loved wildmans tunes when I ran them but have heard good things about PHP and gearhead too. I want to try them in the future.
