if a block is sleeve?

HI i just joined this forum. It started for me when i replace my injectors. Found number 6 injector with no copper crush washer on it. Knew that wasn't good bc the injector was back so was the sleeve inside. Next i pulled seen that the glow plug seeing it had broken off inside my engine. i don't know when or how long i have ran it like that, but it wasn't long after the injectors were going that i parked it. To get to my point... I pulled the motor after I had done a compression test on 6 and it didn't even more the needle. Pulled the motor, got it on a stand. Than i removed the heads. Found the number 6 broke. like i figured. Now I'm no expert on these motor, now for my question.... Does early 99's come with sleeves from the factory or not? and If not why will a standard piston fit to tight? all eight bores are sleeves as far as i can tell. I've been surfing the web for answers. but I'm not finding what I'm looking for. also what is the tolerance between the cylinder and the piston?

They do not have sleeves, will have to have it taken to a machine shop and see if it can be punched out. Or find a used engine on Craigslist and swap engines.
