No help

This is the third time I have come to this website and asked what is supposed to be people with some knowledge on power stroke engines. This is the third time your site has failed to even try to answer any questions. I think it's more of a bitch and gripe page. If there is anyone that knows anything about the 7.3 how about a little help?!

What seems to be the problem with your 7.3:humm:

Well your last post was had so much detail in it I couldn't process all the information

My 2000 7.3 won't start. It cranks, blows smoke out the back side of the turbo. I replaced the camshaft sensor, still no start. The cover plate is factory. Pulled the icp connection, still no start.

Well have you scanned it?

I don't have a scanner. Some people said it might be the glow plugs. Or I just have to keep it plugged in at night. I have had other 7.3's before and not had this even in severe cold temperatures.

You can't do much on a 7.3 without scanning it. Try testing the glow plugs and relay. Could be your problem, but won't know till you test/scan it

Would that be the starter relay? Do I need to take it to a shop or is there a scanner that I can get at the parts store?

BY the way, thank you for responding.

i had the same problem and the glow plug relay was the culprit it does look similar to your starter relay but it is under the plastic cover under your hood right by your fuel filter and there are tons of videos on youtube that show you how to test it a hell of alot better then i can explain it good luck:hellox:
