Tony has all those tunes also, accept the drive-thru one, and possibly the deceleration tune... but his tow tunes automatically slow you down when you reach a certain MPH while stopping, so not sure why you would need to waste another position for just a deceleration tune.... ??
The decel tune turns on the EBPV to use it as an exhaust brake, and also keeps the TC locked. I dont have a EBPV anymore so I dont have it! But its a nice tune... The drive thru has nothing to do with the "fuel" its timing change that makes it quite. Hit the gas in that setting and wooof, a big white cloud... No matter what you go with for tuning, a set of gauges, and a valve body for the tranny are a must! You will cook a tranny with anyones tunes. Even stock they are junk. |
Thanks for some clarification Joe :U:
I wasn't sure on the drive thru tune, just going off of some things I had read.. -- but as far as the tranny thing, you are totally correct... I'm on my second! Why do ya think there is NO Extreme/race file on my chip right now :D and you MUST have guages almost before you do anything to your truck... unless you want to risk the expensive piece of machinery... |
