Cost to Fix Oil Leak?

I'm negotiating a sale of an '01 F350 7.3L which has minor oil leaks from the valve cover and oil pan according to the seller. I'm curious if anyone could tell me the ballpark price to have these fixed by a shop?

Valve cover gasket is like 50-100 and a couple hours work.

The oil pan is a different story. To fix it correctly the engine has to be pulled.

I've emailed a few Ford dealers around town but I'm not sure if they will give out pricing. I'm assuming if the engine has to be pulled it will be over $1,000.

OK, If the engine is pulled, what other components should I consider replacing / upgrading at that time? Water pump?

Oil pan doesent use a gasket just silicone and could be coming from oil cooler or dipstick tube o ring thensprayin on pan...valve cover gaskets in these dont usually leak as they are ruasable. If it was at my shop id charge est. Of about $400 as motor or trans do not need too come out to reseal the pan.
