So, I am receiving an 01 7.3 DRW 6spd from my step dad in exchange for some repairs and future maintenance on his 08....

I put a nice 4 puck dual plate clutch in this truck last fall, and he's had some decent amount of repairs done as of late. Currently I have a couple of 6.0's and am very happy with them. I would like to know where to dedicate some money for more go on this old girl? I plan on selling both 6's and keeping the 7.3 and buying a small runaround to lower maintenance costs (I get free diesel )

Current budget is about $1000, until the other 2 sell, then prob additional 2-3K. Plan on putting 22.5 wheels and tires on it..., other than that IDK

 

Gauges, intake, exhaust and a chip are your basic upgrades. Then it all depends on your HP goals, budget and what you do with it
