problem after problem

so i bought a 2000 reg cab 6 spped 4x4 two days ago. truck had a 50 hp chip in it. test drove it, bought it, went to a freinds house pulled another truck 2 miles down the road for him. noticed the fuel bowl leaking by the drain valve. replaced orings and fuel filter. drove to work the next day. truck started fine ran fine till i got 5 miles down the road. it started to fall on its face, shaking, and quit. i cycled it over two time started back up with a ruff idle, let it idle for 10 min, it cleared up, started back down the road and a couple min later did the same thing. after having to let it idle and clear up 10 times i made it to work late. on my lunch it started right up. took it down the road and it started doing the same thing. got it back to the shop, checked the bowl, it had fuel, a friend told me to check the computer and cam sensor. replaced cam sensor and checked the computer and chip, everything was tight and plugged in. went to start it up to pull it out and the wait to start light never came on and it will crank but wont start. i cant hear the injectors or the pump turn on and the pcm was warm to the touch. any help would be nice. thanks.

My 99 did the same thing wound up being the connection of the TS 6 pos. chip attached to PCM would not make connection sometimes and kill the WTS light and die running down the road.
