Electrical fluctuations issue

Hello all,

My truck is a 99 7.3L F350 4x4

As of recently I've noticed slight electrical fluctuations in the system.

In other words, my lights flicker ever so slightly but it's noticeable and as a result, my fuel economy has gone down severely and at around 65 or so my truck starts to stutter slightly like the injectors aren't fully operational.

It's got new batteries.
Fairly newer alternator (replaced last year)
I checked the battery cables connections at the batteries and starter all seems good.
Voltmeter reads 15v at idle.

Any ideas? My mpg has dropped -4 and I'm worried about the injectors stuttering like they are.

Fixed the problem....

The alternator's regulator wasn't functioning properly and was over charging the system causing the issues.

No more injector stutter.
No more lights fluctuating.
MPG up by almost 5!

Runs like a dream once again:jump:
