2002 F250 injector cups?

I see diesel in the bottle, and read up that the injector sleeve/cups may have cracked.

I'm going to be diving into the job in the next day or 2, and wondered if anyone here has done it, and what's involved? Obviously the valve covers and so forth...and I've read about injector o-rings needing replacement...I'd do all of that stuff.

Other issue is that the glow plug relay doesn't operate as designed. I ran a button in the cab, so it's not a 911 issue, but I'd sure like to get it back to the factory standard.

Any help would be super greatly appreciated!!:jump::jump::jump::c:

Also, I saw somewhere about a Permatex kit for these things? I'm really looking forward to this job...:argh:

easy as can be with the sleeve tool kit pull valve cover then injectors pull the cup clean mating surface then drive in new cups install new orings on inj's reinstall them and button her up... you can drain the oil and fuel rails with the drainplug on the end of the heads or just pull the glow plugs throw 2 bolts in each of the valve covers crank motor 2-3 time pull covers back off reinstall gp's change oil before you run it(my preferred method) but other than drainin the heads or purging out the cylinders (glow plug pullin deal) hardest part is probably pryin out the injectors... 1 foot pry bar is your friend!:pca1:
