Injector questions/ electrical

I figured someone on this board may be able to help me out.
I'm working on a 2001 F350 7.3.
I pulled codes P1316(IDM codes detected),P1274( cyl 4 high to low side open), and P1293 (high side open bank 1).
I did a buzz test and got eight buzzes, but all came from drivers side, as suspected the uvch on the pass side was completely off. I did the quarter mod and put it back together. I disconnected the harness to the IDM and ohmed all wires to the uvch terminals on top, including the bulkhead above drivers side valve cover. all came up good.
The trucks original symptoms were, that it died on the road and would not start. After doing the quarter mod on pass side I got the truck to light off.
It has a miss at idle, no check engine light.
I pulled codes P1316 again and P1274 again . doing a buzz test all but #4 sound great.
I ohmed the drivers side injectors and got Cyl2 (5.3) Cyl4 (open) Cyl6 (8.2) and Cyl8 (5.7).
I,m suspecting that I may have a burned pin in the valve cover gasket, or a cooked solenoid on the # 4 injector. I plan on inspecting tomorrow.
My question is this, What do the high Ohm readings on injectors 2,6,and 8 say about their condition? Could a bad solenoid on one cyl make the others read funky? And lastly could a bad valve cover gasket or burnt connectors cause high Ohm readings like that? (for cyls 2,6,and 8

Thank You
Bryan
P.S on inspecting/testing the wiring I noticed some one pierced the hot wire(center) to the drivers side valve cover connector on top, and sliced chunks out of the wire covering to four wires coming off of the Idm bulkhead:scare2:. Are those two harnesses now junk? any way to fix short of replacing? Thanks Bryan
