Foil delete mod worth the time?

I had heard it increases the whistle of your turbo quite a bit and I love that sound. Does it really and are there any down sides to doing it?:c:

Do it and find out, its not going to hurt a thing

I just did it and painted the tubes. It took me a while to get all the adhesive off the tube under the insulation. I have the stock wheel for now and i noticed a big difference with the windows down.

That looks pretty good Jason. Did mine last night. Makes a pretty good difference. You know of any other good mods? I have done the DIY tymar intake and the foil delete now.

Theres the Zoodad mod,(That is where you cut out a hole in the fiberglass directly in front of your air intake area (behind the grill panel) so that more air can flow directly into your airbox.), also There is a red tube that runs to the WG just disconnect it and plug it by sticking it on your intercooler boot clamp(more boost), Air intake heater mod(just more white smoke on a start up but dosent change it at all), and stright pipe it for lower egts(and great sound).:rocking:

Did the Zoodad mod and the foil delete the only thing I notice with the foil delete A the pipe looks better and the tone of the turbo is a better more audible. I'll paint the pipes when I install the new wastegate and wicked wheel. Rock on and Mod away. The only way to learn is to do:pca1:
