Here's a little visual representation for ya :)

Small = factory
Big = 4" DP

as for who or which to recommend, mine is an MBRP -- but pretty much all will fit and give you the benefits - just depends on if you crave SS or go with alumanized like mine, and who will give you the best deal. Mine is also a CAT delete w/Muffler -- you can get straight piped for cheaper.

Ok so ive got some info and I have a few more questions, Ive heard that the downpipe has a bad transition off the turbo does anyone offer a better 1 and which exhaust has best flow but doesnt wake all my neighbors up?

Thanks For The Pics Blue!

In My Experience It All Depend On What You Plan To Replace. If Your Doing A Full System - Magnaflow Is Known To Create A Great Tone, But Still Keep The Growl To A Min. I Have Never Installed A Magnaflow Diesel Kit Myself, But I Know A Few That Have - And It Sounds Great.

If You Prompt The Distributors On DB They Will Be Able To Find You A Downpipe For Your Application.

Any 4" system is fine, there all the same more or less, they will ALL flow the same. The only differance is the muffler for sound.

Personally im having the 4" magnaflow turbo back installed in mine along with the afe hi flow air induction kit.

Spec Do You Have Any Pics of Your Truck? Or Exhaust For That Matter?

specwar64 04-08-2008 09:55 AM

I dropped the truck off yesterday morning and took a couple of before pics and also took a few of the front end all ripped apart while i was waiting for my ride home(truck is gonna be there a few days). I told the owner of the shop to have the kid doing the work to take more pics of the progression as he goes and then when its finished i'll snap a few after pics along with some of the exhaust system and post them(if i can figure out how)here when its all done. I may,if the lift is done pick it up tonight though and just keep bringing it back daily until everything is finally done. The reason for that is, it just plain stinks being without a vehicle.I'll make sure i get some of the exhaust for you tho. The fender flares wont be here until i believe next week sometime because they have to be shot in torreador red metallic before they can even be shipped from the factory. Pics soon tho i swear.
