I've heard that I can make this work in my 2000 7.3 is it true I can get one for $50 so that's why I'm thinking about it. I've heard there are little gain.

A couple people have but its a lot of work and money. Redoing all the piping then figuring out how to control the vgt

A guy it my town did it you have to be able to control the vanes of true vgt and he told me he custom built all the exhaust and intake piping he said it wasn't wortth the time and money if he had to do it over again he would have just done a Garrett 38r and called it a day

If you look at the Maps of a stock 7.3 and a 6.0 turbo, youre not going to like the results. Hell, theyre undersize for running 6L let alone 20% more displacement. Now getting a VGT off a newer 8.3L cummins or a John Deere... thats been on my too do list!
