opinion on stacks vs no stack
I'm tossing around the idea of putting a single stack on my 99 reg cab. I'm thinking about a 6 inch black or black chrome mitre cut about in the middle of the passenger seat. Also thinking about leaving the stock exhaust with a muffler delete. What are your guys thoughts on this? All opinions will be considered. In the near future I'll be installing gauges and a 6 position chip if that helps. Thanks

A stack in a reg cab is pretty loud. And I'd put a 4 inch exhaust on it with out a muffler. If your set on a stack, I would still put a 4 inch exhaust going to the stack

Stack in my cousins reg can is obnoxious, even in a 4 door their awful drone.

Will the 4 inch make that much of a difference over the 3.5 stock exhaust? It's not that much of a jump up in size.

Stacks are Played out now a days.

i like dual stacks if they are done right they are loud on a regular cab. if you got a crew cab it wouldnt be as loud
|
stacks are for tractor trailers!!!

everyone has thier own opinion on what looks good go with what you want if you want to look at buying some stacks go to blackclouddiesel they have have fair prices :c:

a mitre cut will be loud in the cab. a turn out or bull hauler facing back you won't hear a thing.

i have a 4 inch downpipe going into 5 in then to a single 8 inch miter and i like it. i have a extended cab and i dont think it is all that loud with normal driving. its all personal preference tho
